The survey and the quantification of the entity of the damage is realized according to the price list of the car manufacturer and/or of the production house, considering qualified labour, waste disposal and technical stop necessary for the reparations (the LESSOR has the esclusive faculty to establish their timing), also including possible ordering times for the materials.
The damage concern “car body”, “plate glasses” and “tyres”; the damage on the car body are divided into “scratches and dents”, and in turn they are divided into “minor and extensive”.
The survey of the damage on the car body is realized according to the use of a tool called “AG TRANSFERS DAMAGE INDICATOR 10X5”, that consists on a card whose dimentions are 10x5 cm. The typology of the car body damage is classified in the following chart.
NOT CHARGEBLE SCRATCH
A not chargeble scratch is one single scratch smaller than 2 cm, on the car body, eccept the following parts: roof, plate glasses, mirrors, headlights, underside, glasses, alloy wheels amd tyres.
MINOR SCRATCH
A scratch is considered minor when is longer than 2 cm and shorter than 5 cm, or a single scratched area whose extension doesn’t excess the surface of the “AG TRANSFERS DAMAGE INDICATOR 10X5”.
EXTENSIVE SCRATCH
A scratch is considered extensive when its ectension excesses the 5 cm of the “AG TRANSFERS DAMAGE INDICATOR 10X5”. Multiple single minor scratches in the same area (e.g. front door) will be considered as an extensive scratch.
MINOR DENT
A dent is considered minor when its extension doesn’t excess the 5 cm of the “AG TRANSFERS DAMAGE INDICATOR 10X5”.
EXTENSIVE DENT
A dent s considered extensive when its extension excesses the 5 cm of the “AG TRANSFERS DAMAGE INDICATOR 10X5”. Multiple single minor dents in the same area or an extensive dent plus minor dents always in the same area are also considered as extensive dent.
REPLACEMENT/BREAK/MISSING PART
All the pieces of damage that require the replacement of the part because it is missing, broken or damaged are considered like this.
Damage charge
The damage charts don’t include mechanical damage, for it can be ascertained only by personnel with specific technical competence, therefore it requires the evaluation from experts of the sector, appointed by the Society AG TRANSFERS even through commercial agreements with the several societies operative in that sector.
